`Ai means ‘to eat’ and lani means heaven in hawaiian. Our farm, `Ailani Orchards is literally a place to come for fabulous organic food that also feeds your soul.
We feel that delicious healthy food raised in a luscious harmonious environment is everyone’s best health insurance. Not only is it our pleasure and honor to offer you not only—literally—the fruits of our hard labor, but also a bit of our life story, our lifestyle, and even a chance to PURCHASE ONE FOR YOURSELF. YOUr VERY OWN PERMANENT Organic Farm stay. On a daily basis we put love into our trees, animals, homes, fruits, nuts, and all the products that we produce here for you to eat. We began in 2001 with a desire to raise our own children in a safe, healthy and soul nourishing environment, and soon realized we wanted to offer everyone else’s kids the same.
We ARE NOW on our 23rd year here, raising our children, our sheep, and our food so that we could organically grow into a place where you too can find scrumptious physical and spiritual nourishment. Ka’u Hawaii known for it’s ALOHA, for it’s peace, and as a last bastion of “Old Hawaii” encompasses the last 80 miles of undeveloped coastline in the State. It is a place you can come to find your soul, drop your guard and feel the genuine you, out of the hustle and bustle of modern life, and back into the refreshing and renewing arms of Mother Nature.
We, Barney and Elizabeth, invite you to meet us for a quick (or long) stop at our roadside Fruit Stand, or a deeper wonderful way to enjoy a 3 to 6 month educational stay at our organic farm.
